Kurt Pany, CFE, CPA, is Professor Emiritus of Accounting at Arizona State University. He received his B.S., M.B.A., and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Arizona, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Illinois, respectively. He has also served as a staff accountant with Arthur Andersen and Touche Ross, as a member of the Auditing Standards Board, and as an academic fellow with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Professor Pany has published articles on auditing in such journals as The Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review, Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, The Journal of Accountancy, and The CPA Journal. The book was a little dense to read. I believe that the book could have been worded better to provide the readers with the ability to better understand Auditing.
Very wordy, a lot of information and unfortunately, my professor choose to use lectures from the 10e book. Oh well - it is my last class.
I like how it came in a binder already. Usually loose leaf text book I buy come "loose" and I have to purchase a binder to staple them. Plus they were in great condition.
No where on the buying page does it mention this is the INTERNATIONAL STUDENT EDITION. I just got this for a class and now I have to return it.
